Today was a day of happy firsts. For me it was my first shoot with my 5D Mark II and my first shoot in Florida! For Shannon and Miguel, it was the first time (at least in a long time, we discussed it) that they had photos taken of (not by) each other.
These guys are such a cute couple and I am so thankful for the chance to spend the time we did today. I am really looking forward to their upcoming wedding in May and know we’ll get some amazing images from that as well.

I am so excited to have my new primary body – the new Canon 5D Mark II. This camera shoots in amazing 21.1 megapixels and even shoots high definition video! My 2009 clients can expect some incredible images from this camera this year.

Tonight I ordered some cards. Not too exciting, huh? Well so many people enjoyed my varying designs on each card that I ran out prematurely.
I just ordered a second run with all new, fresh images!
So be sure to check out the new images once they come out in a couple of weeks.

I am very excited to be working with Shannon and Miguel this Sunday (tomorrow) for their engagement session in Melbourne. This marks my first shoot in Florida, since the move. I have scouted some amazing places and am really excited.
We’ll shoot their second e-session in Orlando most likely the following weekend.
